Dear Friends,
First, I’d like to say “Thank You” for taking the time to read this message. My wife, Reth, Myself, and our children still feel so blessed to have found such an amazing community to be surrounded by, both on island and off. Going on a decade, it seems like only yesterday that we found our home. We could not imagine being anywhere else now.
A few months ago, You(Anderson Islanders) chose me as Man of The Year for 2024, and I have to tell you that that is easily the greatest honor bestowed upon me, outside of marrying Reth and of course being Dad/Step-Dad to our amazing children. None of what I do is for the purpose of acknowledgment, but more as a gesture of gratitude. From the bottom of my being, “THANK YOU”!
Ironically, on the morning of the Labor Day Parade, I discovered that my Fakebook acct had been hacked to a level that I lost all interest in trying to retrieve/appeal it. Fakebook is not real life, and I instantly grew the urge to just be done with ALL social media. In the months since, that urge has blossomed into a healthier mental state within. Having spent many years telling myself that “If I didn’t have businesses, I’d have no social media”, I couldn’t be more thrilled to be beyond that “false mindset”. This “Letter to Our Community” serves the purpose of letting you all know that I am still here, and no I have not blocked you, unless of course I did 😉 I have, in the past couple of weeks, been approached by several folks that did think that I had blocked them.
While I have no more social media (outside of the inactive South Sound Sailing Tours Instagram), we are still in business and looking forward to growing the business purely organically for years to come. Thanks to so many of you, we are now wrapping up our 5th and most successful season yet! When we’re not sailing, or travelling, I will continue to bartend private events, split and sell firewood for folks, as well as handle any tasks/jobs you may have for me around your properties and homes. Private Labeled Wines, I’ve got you covered there too. We are not going anywhere!
Before this gets too long, I’ll just say “THANK YOU” one more time, and we sincerely look forward to keeping in touch with you all in more personal ways.
