As I sit back and contemplate the forthcoming season of charters, amazingly our 6th, I can't help but feel so much gratitude for all of you that have already been sailing with me, and for all of the new sailors I'm going to meet. Solution sits in anticipation as well, albeit with a little greener deck than she would prefer. All of that, as well as any necessary routine maintenance will be behind us within the week.

We will be ready to take on passengers beginning the first weekend after Easter. If you already have a special date in mind, booking now is the best bet. As the end of the school year rapidly approaches, our availability becomes less and less. Reserve your special day now :)
With that said, we have added a couple of new services to our offerings. They are both One-Way Charters, with one taking you and up to 5 others from Anderson Island to Steilacoom, while the other option of course departs Steilacoom and takes you to Anderson Island. These options will be mainly under the power of our steel spinnaker (aka the diesel engine), but with the right conditions I'd most definitely be inclined to stretch the sheets. For more details on these...
Now, should we face similar unfortunate circumstances as we did back in '23, I offer these services on a donation basis, as before. However, the ferry service has really been doing a great job since then and we shouldn't have to worry about that too much.
Anderson Island Youth Sailing Has Arrived!
While there is still some work to do before we have kids in boats, and subsequently trying to right these boats from a capsized state, we are oh so close! With tremendous support from Anderson Island Parks & Rec, as well as many other individuals, organizations, and benefactors, we have steadfastly reimagined and equipped ourselves, and are now accepting eager 8-12 year olds that want to learn how to sail. First session begins July 15th!
REGISTRATION HAS BEGUN!

Here's a quick flashback to our first summer of Anderson Island Youth Sailing, aboard Solution.
So many great memories of that summer!
Who Wants Merch?! New Items Coming Soon!
Lastly, as preparations for the season are underway, so too is trying to figure out the new design for some really great hoodies & possibly ladies tank tops. While our Merch Page is always at your fingertips, with a wide variety of SSST products such as hats, tumblers, totes, beanies and more... I'm also working on a bulk order from a local vendor for the hoodies and tanks. Once the details are worked out, I promise to share more.
To get on the pre-order list, fill out this form. Pay when you receive the product.
Giving is Caring
Lastly, Reth & I were blessed to be invited as guests and as contributors for a very special event on March 22nd at The McGavick Center in Lakewood. If you click on the link or picture below, you will see just how special the mission of The Claire Bear Foundation truly is. While our hearts break for Shayna & Justin, and their entire circle, it's also very apparent how they have turned personal tragedy into a triumph that ripples across the country. Thank you to Claire's Grandma Bonnie for reaching out and welcoming us to help! I cannot think of a more worthy cause to donate to.
